In 2018, we saw some significant changes in the market. One of the biggest changes taking place was the “For Sale” inventory being down significantly from last year (again). On average the Michigan on-market inventory is down 12% and down over 50% in the last 3 years! Sales have started off slow this year as both January and February were down almost 10% compared to last year, but as I am writing this, it is starting to pick up! We anticipate a balanced market this year with little to no appreciation in home values. Given the slowdown in appreciation, we anticipate an INCREASE in homes available for sale compared to last year. The advantage of the shifting market? More options to purchase and more attractive prices to buyers!

Glover’s Heroes is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides support to local heroes in the community. Heroes are defined as a retired or active Veteran, Teacher, Nurse, Employed Caregiver, Emergency Technician, Police Officer, or Firefighter. With each hero closing, we donate 20% of the commission back to the hero and donate another 5% to the Glover’s Heroes fund. We are hosting another give-back day this summer using that fund.
